There is no better moment than the present. Sometimes, the hardest part of going on a journey is starting it, but taking it one small step at a time will build hope, and the journey will become less intimidating. Here are three small steps you can take to get started.

Contact our business office at 630-828-8120 or email ofmg@ethoscounselinggroup.com. Our office manager will discuss some initial intake information with you and will help you to schedule an appointment with an Ethos therapist most suited for your needs. If there is a specific Ethos therapist you would like to see, you can contact them directly. - Step 2: We’ll check your insurance benefits
We realize that therapy is a financial investment, as well as an emotional one. We are willing to work with you to find a way to make that investment. Call our business office at 630-828-8120 to verify your insurance benefits. You can also see more information about insurance and payment in the Frequently Asked Questions section below. - Step 3: Come and meet your Ethos therapist!

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect from an initial Ethos counseling session?
We are here to listen with unconditional respect and without judgement, so during your initial visit we will allow you to let us know what you are dealing with and what you need. We might ask you about current events in your life, as well as your personal emotional health history. After this initial assessment, then we will begin to work with you to meet those needs.
How long does a session take?
The length will vary depending, but they usually last 45-60 minutes.
What does a session cost?
Fees vary based on type of service and method of payment. We accept many health insurance plans and will discuss out-of-pocket costs with you after your benefits are verified.
Does Ethos have sliding scale or reduced fee for clients?
We do offer services on a sliding scale basis for patients who require assistance. Please contact a clinician directly to discuss financial arrangements.
What methods of payment does Ethos take?
We take cash, check, and charge card. We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept flexible benefits cards. Payments are due at time of service unless arranged otherwise with your therapist. Payment plans can be arranged if necessary.
What health insurance plans does Ethos take?
We are in-network for Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Magellan, Humana, Tricare, and we take Aetna though out of network. We can bill for you in network, and can also bill for you in the case that we are out of network with your insurance.
What is your policy for cancellations and missed appointments?
It is greatly appreciated that you call as soon as possible to cancel an appointment. If you fail to cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50.00 fee. If you miss three consecutive sessions without notifying your clinician, services will be terminated.
